This page contains concept plans and other exhibits regarding the redevelopment of Ashbourne. Today, you will find just two links below. The first is a copy of the plan submitted to the Township on May 26th, 2009. This is the plan you’ve received in your notices from the Township, but in color. The second is a pictorial presentation which explains how our concept of “Flexible Building Boxes” works.
Over the coming weeks as we have further dialogue new concept plans for Ashbourne will emerge. Already we are working on addressing many of the comments we’ve heard to date including adjusting the setbacks and landscape buffering to 100’, changing the placement and density of multi-family homes, reviewing the overall development density and looking to provide public access to walking trails along the Ashbourne side of the Tookany Creek. As this work produces new concepts and as continued dialogue produces further community consensus, new plans will be posted here for all to see. Ultimately, a final plan will be submitted as an update to the original zoning application.
